Timeless farmers The history of the hills in which our tale is told is devoid of dates. The elements that compose it have such depth of focus, thought and time that any added number would be vain and reductive.Our winery is named Guia as the name of the village on the eastern border of Valdobbiadene. We cultivate about thirty hectars of the approximately eight thousand that form the DOCG Valdobbiadene area, our vineyards stretch on steepy hills where the sky lies down on their slopes and it is kissed by sun in a continuous conversation with winds and woods, with the hedges and the streams that twist generously down in the valley. It’s from the valley that a rich and complex biodiversity grows, as if to gratify the patient labour that we call ‘andar par le rive’: this is term we use to express the manual labor of growing vines on the slopes, towards infinity.
