01Bright garnet with ruby reflections, clear. High olfactory intensity, notes of withered rose, candied cherry, licorice, leather, and tobacco.

02Warm attack, silky but present tannins, vibrant acidity, full and elegant body. Complex structure, mineral evolution, magnificent balance, long persistence. Deep finish, hints of undergrowth and sweet spices, great aging potential. Ideal with Barolo-braised beef, stewed game, aged hard cheeses.
