A Syrah accompanied by Merlot, this Turchiotto finds its dimension in an evening setting, perhaps in company, where its intensity is best expressed. From the DOC Sicilia type, in the glass it presents an intense, deep ruby red color, a prelude to a certain structure.
Palate & Finish

Fermentation and maceration for 12 days, with pump-overs and punch-downs, followed by aging in French oak barriques for 8-10 months, give the wine complex notes that reveal themselves on the nose, leading to an enveloping sip. Perfect for accompanying a beef tagliata or a dish of pasta alla norma.
