Soft and enveloping attack, fresh acidity that cleanses the palate, silky and well-present tannins, full and round body. Notes of jam and licorice blend with earthy hints, complex and harmonious structure, remarkable balance. Long and persistent finish, with a fruity and spicy aftertaste, excellent aging potential. Braised beef with Barolo, stewed game, aged hard cheeses, wild boar ragu.
