Bright, clear ruby red. Intense aromas of ripe red fruits, floral notes of violet, herbaceous hints, and sweet spices.
Palate & Finish

Soft attack, good freshness that balances the light tannins, medium body. Complex evolution with hints of plum, licorice, and a slightly balsamic finish. Medium persistence, final notes of cocoa, aging potential of 3-5 years. Tagliatelle with duck ragù, braised beef with Barolo, aged cheeses, wild boar stew.
