Chardonnay Barrique
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01The elegance of the Piedmontese terroir is expressed in this Chardonnay, with its solid structure derived from manual harvesting of selected bunches in late August/early September.
-
Palate & Finish
02Maceration of the skins at low temperatures for 42 hours and gentle pressing provide a precious base, with part of the fermentation taking place in French oak carats, followed by aging in wood that defines its character.
-
At the Table
03The result is a wine of intense yellow, ready to welcome the palate with a complexity that invites the exploration of more decisive flavors, such as those of a porcini mushroom risotto or rabbit "in porchetta."
