Bright, clear ruby red. Nose of withered violets, brandied cherries, hints of balsamic and leather.
Palate & Finish

Soft attack, good freshness, silky tannins, medium body. Complex evolution, enveloping, well-balanced, long finish. Elegant finish, notes of licorice and tobacco, promising evolution in the bottle. Ideal with braised beef in Barolo, stewed game, aged cheeses.
