The Tasting

  1. Appearance & Nose

    01

The Barbaresco DOCG Palazzina, a child of the Nebbiolo grape, presents itself in the glass with the promise of body and persistence that the appellation's regulations demand.

  2. Palate & Finish

    02

On the nose, a solid structure is perceived, while on the palate, an austere tannic texture is revealed, which, however, does not lead to bitter or astringent sensations. About twenty months of aging, partly in wood, and a malolactic fermentation of about two months sur lies at controlled temperatures, give this aging red its decisive personality, perfect for accompanying cured meats, red and white meats, and aged cheeses.
