Azalea IGT Terre Siciliane Rosato
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01Le Fattorie Azzolino, with their Azalea, offer us a rosé born from Merlot grapes grown on clay-sandy soils at an altitude of 450 meters, with a spurred cordon system that ensures a remarkable planting density.
-
Palate & Finish
02Manual harvesting at the end of August, and white vinification with gentle pressing, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature and five months of aging in cement, give the wine a particular freshness.
-
At the Table
03Its 12.5% alcohol content makes it light and pleasant, an excellent choice to accompany summer dishes, such as a fresh seafood salad, sardines in saor, or zucchini risotto.
