Parhelia Montepulciano D’Abruzzo
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC is a wine that draws its identity from the land and Abruzzese tradition, and this Parhelia from Cantina Colonnella is a clear expression of it.
-
Palate & Finish
02In the glass, it presents itself with a full and round body, revealing a richness of ripe red fruits on the nose that evoke plums and sour cherries. A fragrance that then enriches itself with fresh aromatic notes, where rosemary and pink peppercorns add an intriguing spiciness, building a long and satisfying finish.
-
At the Table
03It pairs magnificently with rich lasagna with ragù, a beef Wellington, or larded roasted pigeon with baked potatoes.
