Soft and enveloping attack, fresh acidity, silky tannins, full body. Aromatic complexity, imposing structure, great balance, long persistence. Long and warm finish, hints of licorice and candied fruit, excellent aging potential. Stewed game, braised dishes, aged cheeses, dark chocolate.
