The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01Winery presents a Taurasi DOCG born from a pure Aglianico grape, cultivated on a calcareous clay soil in the Torre le Nocelle vineyard, at about 270 meters above sea level, with twenty-year-old vines.

Palate & Finish
02In the glass, this garnet ruby red reveals herbaceous notes intertwined with hints of blackberry, then opening to a delicate floral touch of chamomile, evoking roots and a smoky finish. On the palate, an initial glyceric softness is appreciated, giving way to well-integrated tannins and a slight, almost imperceptible, acidic freshness.

At the Table
03It pairs magnificently with beef braised dishes and stewed wild boar.
