Appearance & Nose
01In the glass, it reveals itself with a deep ruby color, a prelude to an olfactory experience that intertwines the constant notes of the grape variety with the changing ones of the vintage. The Aglianico grapes, hand-picked and carefully vinified, are then aged for about 24 months in large Slovenian oak barrels, partly new and partly second-fill.

Palate & Finish
02After bottling without filtration, it continues its slow evolution until its market release, which occurs no earlier than the tenth year. This Taurasi proves to be an ideal companion for robust dishes such as beef stew with potatoes, roast guinea fowl with herbs, or classic lasagna with ragù.
