Etna Rosso DOC Feudo Di Mezzo
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01The Etna Rosso DOC, a regulation that requires the predominant presence of Nerello Mascalese with a small proportion of Nerello Cappuccio, in this case comes from a historic vineyard located at 600 meters altitude on the northeast slope of Etna, in Contrada Feudo di Mezzo.

Palate & Finish
02The brown volcanic soil, rich in skeleton and with sandy-loam and loamy-sand textured volcanic sands, gives the wine a decisive mineral imprint and a fresh acidity that is also found on the palate.

At the Table
03This Etna Rosso expresses the peculiar characteristics of the territory, suggesting a pairing with sautéed porcini mushroom dishes, braised lamb, or aged cheeses.
