Intense garnet with ruby reflections. Complex aromas of ripe red fruit, plum, blackberry, with spicy notes of black pepper, licorice, dark chocolate, and tertiary hints of leather and tobacco.
Palate & Finish

Warm and enveloping attack, great freshness, silky and well-integrated tannins, full and majestic body. Rich and layered evolution, imposing structure, magnificent balance, remarkable taste persistence. Long and persistent finish, with echoes of cocoa and sweet spices, great aging potential. Ideal with Barolo braised beef, stewed game, hard aged cheeses, dark chocolate.
