Intense garnet, clear. Wilted rose, China ink, licorice, tobacco, undergrowth.
Palate & Finish

Aggressive yet elegant, notable freshness, silky but present tannins, full body. Complex and layered, great structure, magnificent balance, long persistence. Very long finish, balsamic and spicy notes, excellent aging potential. Braised beef, game in a stew, aged cheeses, sautéed porcini mushrooms.
